Brent’s 1937 Ford Club Cabrioletmaintains all of it’s original elegance while delivering ground pounding performance. It has Dominator built independent front and rear suspension, complete with Wilwood disk brakes and a quick-change rear end. The stroked twin turbo 400 C.I.D. built by Rebello Racing produces 812 horsepower and 670 ft-lbs of torque at 10 psi of boost. It has a handmade Dominator exhaust system with 2 1/2” stainless steel tubing. It has a full custom Sid Chavers interior, complete with a one-off instrument cluster by classic instruments. We started with an Original 100% steel ’37, we shortened the quarter panels, extended and lowered the rear of the body, extended the doors, laid back the windshield and lengthened the wheel base by 4”. The front has been sectioned by 2 1/2”, custom running boards, extended and reshaped front fenders, the front of the car has been extended and the fenders are laid back. The hand made firewall ties into the custom inner fender panels. The hood and cowl have been reshaped and the floor boards are custom made for this vehicle. The convertible roof collapses into the body, the wheels are one-off and all of the custom trim is made of solid Brass. All paint and body work was done in house, at Dominator.
The Goodguys truck needed a face lift. Basically we took an early model Freightliner, and modified late model body parts to give it a more modern and sleek look. Just another example that there is no job too big or too small for Dominator to tackle. You can get a closer look at this truck at most of the Goodguys shows. John's 1956 Chevrolet Nomad Bel Air is equipped with C4 Corvette suspension on a Paul Newman Chassis. It has a Flaming River steering column and custom chrome hand controls. It has custom bumpers, shaved door handles, shaved drip rails and keyless entry. The Supercharged, Intercooled LS2 produces 617 horsepower and is paired with a 4L80E transmission. The engine compartment has been smoothed out with custom panels, covers and plumbing. Sid Chavers did all of the custom upholstery. Color matched Classic Instruments gauges, and custom water jetted air conditioning vents complete the dash.
Paul’s 1955 Chevrolet has a Stroked 427 C.I.D. LS3 with Imagine Injection fuel injection and a Tremec T56 Magnum transmission. This show winner has Aston Martin DB9 door handles, a Flaming River steering column and Vintage Air air conditioning. The body has been sectioned 3” at firewall to 2” at the rear, the hood was peaked and inserted and doors were shortened and skinned. To accommodate the massive rear tires, the rear has been tubbed, and custom quarter panels complete the package. It has shaved door handles and the drip rails were removed to smooth out the body. The hand crafted Dominator wiring harness and electrical system, complete with the custom center console make this a unique head turner.
Steve’s 1969 Chevrolet C10 pickup has a Magnuson Supercharged LS engine, with a custom cold air intake system. Steve wanted a “stock” look to the engine, so the block is painted with the factory orange color. It’s equipped with Wilwood 4 wheel disk brakes with vented & slotted rotors. It has Dominator built custom bumpers, shaved drip rails, custom fender wells in the bed, as well as custom imported wood slats in the bed.
Don’s 1967 Dodge Dart Convertible is equipped with a Dominator built custom tube chassis with S.C.C.A. legal roll cage and door bars. It has Magnum Force front suspension and custom 4-link rear suspension with coil-over shocks. Wilwood 14” slotted/vented rotors with 6 piston calipers stop this Dart on a dime. It has: Hand made Dominator wheel tubs, bumpers, grille, radiator, air filter housing, stainless steel headers and exhaust system. It’s outfitted with custom Italian leather upholstery by Tony Gomes with ACME Auto Interiors. A Flaming River steering column, and custom color matched gauges complete the dash. Currently it has a Tremec 5 speed transmission and the Gotelli Speed Shop built carbureted 512 C.I.D. will soon be replaced with a Hellcat engine.
We hand made most of the parts that we incorporated into this project, because we built the vehicle before it was released; so no aftermarket parts existed. Suspension and brake upgrades, cleaned up the interior, and fabricated some of the body panels. All paint and body work was done in house, at Dominator. You will still see this truck at the Goodguys booth at many of their shows.
Steve’s 1932 Ford Roadster incorporates a 598 C.I.D. All aluminum Brodix Big Block Chevrolet engine and has a late 60’s Hilborn stack fuel injection converted to EFI. A Winters quick change rear end with 3.42’s and a Tremec TKO 5 speed, 4 wheel Wilwood disk brakes & American Rebel wheels keep it on the road. It has a custom Sid Chavers European leather interior, and a 11 gallon fuel cell in trunk. It has Dominator built custom hood and side panels, louvered engine hood and trunk deck lid, Cotati Speed Shop made windshield. The chassis was designed by Leonard Lopez and hand made by Dominator with custom rocker arm rear shock linkage (push rod rear suspension) to hide all of the suspension under the car. She roars down the street with hand made stainless steel headers and exhaust system by Leonard Lopez. A majority of the vehicle (roughly 80%) was hand crafted by Dominator. All paint and body work was done in house, at Dominator.
